Story Behind the Shot
I noticed a lightning storm on the horizon while walking home after dinner and went down to the beach to watch it. A banca was sitting just offshore, perfectly placed against the storm, so I ran home for my camera and tripod.
I came back, set up, and waited until the light, the boat and the lightning finally came together.
